I was looking for a funeral doom album for some time and I fell in love with this one after one second. Of course it is slow, of course it is long but it's worthy of your time. It is full of emotions and symphony. If you like the style, give it a try! You won't be disapointed. (And it's the best looking vinyl of my collection)
With “VI - Dantalion”, Slow create a deep and all consuming atmosphere that will crush your mesmerized Soul to the deepest depths of nothingness. “Dantalion” is compelling, captivating, emotional and even renewing. Essential suffocating funeral doom for the downcast and dejected.

What an exceptional release. I'm not generally a fan of funeral paced stuff but the sonic quality of this makes it a very enjoyable experience indeed. A real beauty that I imagine will be admired for years to come. MrGladstone

I'm so conflicted on this new version of Drowned VI: Mother Cetacean. I really think the overall mix better than in 2017 EP, but taking out the samples of the woman speaking French (I think?) dramatically hurts the atmosphere of the song. I think they are both good versions of the song but unfortunately I think the removal of the woman takes away more than the new mix adds.
On the positive side I'm really happy for the new song, Drowned VII is easily better than either version of Drowned VI. ajarrell
